The problem
Sky’s products, including NowTV, Peacock and SkyShowtime, share a lot of the same frontend. A new button design from the design system had to reach all of them, and buttons are on almost every screen, so any change was highly visible.
What I did
As one of the tech leads on the CMS team, I led the redesign and migration of the button styles across the Sky ecosystem. I worked with external designers on the Figma-based design system work, then built the new styles in React, TypeScript and Styled Components.
I managed the rollout across the brands, checking each change against the design brief so the new buttons shipped without regressions.
The result
NowTV, Peacock and SkyShowtime moved to the same redesigned buttons, matching the design brief across the ecosystem.
